Position-dependent mass Schrödinger particles in space-like screw dislocation: associated degeneracies and magnetic and Aharonov–Bohm flux fields effects

چکیده
We consider non-relativistic position-dependent mass (PDM) Schödinger particles moving in an elastic medium with space-like screw dislocation. Within the cylindrical coordinates $$\left( r,\phi ,z\right) $$ , we study and report effects of dislocation as well PDM settings on energy levels some PDM-quantum mechanical systems. In so doing, use a power-law type positive-valued dimensionless scalar multiplier f(r)=\lambda r^{\sigma }$$ (which manifestly introduces metaphoric notion PDM-Schödinger particles). Next, subject such to magnetic Aharonov–Bohm flux fields. exact or conditionally eigenvalues eigenfunctions for $$V(r)=0$$ $$V(r) =a+b\,r+c\,r^{2}$$ .

15 صفحه اولSigned Phases and Fields Associated with Degeneracies
In the first part, expressions are given for the sign of the topological angle that is acquired upon making a loop around a degeneracy (”conical intersection”) point of two molecular energy surfaces. The expressions involve the partial derivatives (with respect to the nuclear coordinates) of the matrix elements of the coupling Hamiltonian. Examples are given of a few studied cases, such as of e...

although there are studies on pragmatic assessment, to date, literature has been almost silent about native and non-native english raters’ criteria for the assessment of efl learners’ pragmatic performance. focusing on this topic, this study pursued four purposes. the first one was to find criteria for rating the speech acts of apology and refusal in l2 by native and non-native english teachers...
15 صفحه اولAxion-Like Particles, Cosmic Magnetic Fields and Gamma-Ray Astrophysics
Axion-Like Particles (ALPs) are predicted by many extensions of the Standard Model and give rise to characteristic dimming and polarization effects in a light beam travelling in a magnetic field. In this Letter, we demonstrate that photonALP mixing in cosmic magnetic fields produces an observable distortion in the energy spectra of distant gamma-ray sources (like AGN) for ranges of the ALP para...
متن کاملTracking Particles with Wake Fields and Space Charge Effects
A simple and precise way to account for beam cavity interactions is the use of delta wake potentials known from RF calculations or measurements. When this procedure is introduced in a tracking program following super-particles such as in PARMELA, besides the effect of the space charge, the evolution of the charge distribution within the bunches of a train can be determined. The interesting appl...
